Like every year on the Trade Day, Untamed also made a big deal this year. During the anniversary edition of the Holiday Fair, the stand of partner Visit Rwanda went off from 13:00. After a word of welcome, a toast to the New Year and the announcement of the destinations of the upcoming study trips – South India, Namibia and Guatemala – attendees were overwhelmed by a price rain of travel, ranging from a luxury stay on a paradise island to a self-drive ‘Where the world can’t find you’.
After the kick-off by travel guru and director Jozef Verbruggen and Herbert NDAHIRO (1st Secretary Embassy Rwanda) and an introduction of the plans for 2020 by Ellen Kleijer (Marketing manager Untamed) the drink started in the presence of Z.E. Mr. Jean Pierre KARABARANGA (Ambassador Rwanda) with a lot of spectacle.
An overwhelming number of travel professionals created a festive buzz while enjoying champagne and finger food. During the networking, attendees were invited to deposit their business card in a special jar, from which later – under loud jeering – three winners were drawn.
Monique Wijn of VX Travel Service Best won a self-drive through the wildlife parks in northern South Africa.
Renate Soer of Personal Touch Travel won a sun-drenched beach stay on Benguerra Island, Mozambique.
And last but not least; Ester Feller of Reis&Styl won a special combination of city and beach in Colombia.
