As part of a self-organized trip to mainly Australia, we asked Untamed to organize a one-week 'country' program on Vietnam for us. The contact beforehand with Untamed was very pleasant and efficient. After our night flight to Ho Chi Minh City the guide with driver was already ready to take us to the hotel. On that first day we could mainly rest from the trip and in the evening there was a Vespa tour in the city. That was a special and enjoyable experience, with the food in the street food restaurants in particular being of remarkably high quality. The surprise river tour later in the itinerary was great fun as was the visit to the floating market and the bicycle tour of the Vietnamese countryside accompanied by a pleasant and funny bicycle guide.

The three hotels during our trip were all special: Mia Saigon had amazingly beautiful rooms, equipped with every luxury. Hotel Legacy Mekong was on its own island in the Mekong River and the separate cottages were luxurious and pleasant. The hotel on Phu Quoc (Salinda Resort) was also very luxurious and especially the very extensive breakfast was a highlight, in addition to the pool and private beach.

All in all, we had a great fun vacation in Vietnam and it also dovetailed well with our campervan tour in Western Australia. Next time we will gladly use Untamed's services again.
