An experience in incredible India, otherwise we cannot describe our trip.
From Oct. 19 to Nov. 15, we traveled through India. It was a long-held wish and an oft-delayed trip (due to the pandemic).
The trip was a chain of adventures, experiences and we fell from surprise to surprise. Still, three highlights can be mentioned. such as
Because a country of nearly 3.3 million square kilometers with 1.3 billion inhabitants is far too big to see in four weeks, our sales specialist Tryntsje has put together a day-to-day program that includes space for various aspects of society in India. Something for everyone.
Amazing the beautiful temples, palaces and forts. Unbelievable the big cities, the crowds, the traffic, etc. Relaxing the National Parks.
We enjoyed the bicycle tour of Old Delhi, It takes some getting used to, the crowds, the smells, the narrow roads, but this is a must for any India visitor.
We were fortunate enough to attend the Divali festival experience. In our case, it was in Jodhpur. A colorful spectacle with huge crowds in the markets leading up to it in the stores and streets.
The journey continued via Bera (leopards) to Udaipur, Deoghar, Puskar (camel-fair) , Jaipuhr Barathpur (bird sanctuary),
Agra, Fantastic to be able to visit the Taj Mahal. Even more impressive in real life than in a picture. The last cultural stop is in Orcha and Kajuhraho
Along the way, frequent stops are made at a landmark such as a park, temple, fort or castle.
To conclude this beautiful trip, we stayed 2 x 3 days in excellent lodges in/near the beautiful parks of Bandavghar and Kahna. Here we were rewarded with a tiger in each park.
Full of impressions and extremely satisfied, we bid farewell to beautiful India.
Thank you so much Tryntsje and colleagues. You had put together another fantastic trip for us.
