Here our travel experience in Senegal. We had a wonderful trip. Our guide Mamado was fantastic. A very fine man who arranges everything perfectly but also keeps enough distance. Really amazing.

The program was a little too booked as far as we were concerned. Arriving in Dakar at 4:30 in the morning and going on an excursion at 11 a.m. is a lot. Nor did we see the 4x4 car. only in the desert and during the safari but not the rest of the trip. As far as we were concerned, the ride at pink lake did not represent much. Afternoon to the desert campsite was fantastic the drive there and the tent we stayed in were fantastic.

The next day to the Lodge Ocean et Savane was a beautiful place where we would have loved to stay for two nights. That was really great. Unfortunately, we had to leave again after lunch. Through to St. Louis where we also had an excellent time. Then Toubacouta we would have liked to have two extra nights there too. Also such a beautiful place where there was still plenty to see.

All in all, an excellent vacation. But those first 8 days could have been 4 days longer and the days by the sea 2 days shorter as far as we were concerned. Senegal is a fantastic country. Easy going, with a very friendly population. We had a great vacation.
