Our trip to India is one we will certainly cherish. We had a great time and on our last safari (the last day of our trip), we were able to admire a tiger without any other jeep around! That was just under an hour before Tala Gate closed in Bandhavgarh. Consequently, we were able to take numerous photos of tigers.
The places that will stay with us the most are our stay in Mela Kothi (Reni Pani), Kanha (Earth Lodge), Garh Himmat Singh, because of the simplicity of the stay (especially the shower) and a cozy dinner in the courtyard with cozy people, Chambal Valley and Ratan Vilas in Jodhpur, without forgetting the cooking session at Deolia in Jaipur, the stay in Udaipur, Agra...At the boat safari on the Chambal, we spotted a leopard, the first in 15 years according to Bachchu our guide on the spot.
This and so much more, plus the anecdotes about the (hard to understand) English language at the table, and the slack-jawed laughter as a result...(Lost in Translation)
There are few, if any, negative points to mention. There is always something that goes wrong, but something was found quickly. This was it, maybe I forgot to mention something here and there to an unforgettable trip, rich in experiences.
Thank you Tryntsje! Daniel and Janique
