"What a beautiful country. Above expectations!"

Tour Peru, Easter Island and Buenos Aires

Lisbeth & Stefan traveled in 16 days along the highlights of Peru, to special Easter Island and concluded with a stay in vibrant Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Thank you very much for putting together this very nice and well organized trip. Below is a short report of our experiences.

Peru; what a beautiful country. Nice people, nice food. Above expectations. Unfortunately, we didn't see much of Lima because the return bus was scheduled for the afternoon. The advantage of this was swimming / sun time in DoubleTree hotel Paracas, what a super hotel!

In Cusco we had a very good and nice guide Georgi. Seen a lot and told about the culture and the how and why. Good drivers. With a meager breakfast, very small rooms and an unpleasant contact person, the hotel Munay Wasi in Cusco was not recommended.

The hotel in Santiago was superb, opposite the airport, just laugh. A very good choice. We were able to relax without being bothered by flying noises.

Easter Island was in one word amazing! What an experience. The flight there, the excitement when disembarking, the volcanoes, the statues, the simple food… Nicolas - whose grandmother participated in the excavations - turned out to be a very good guide and pleasant to deal with for three days. 'Our kinda guy'. Seen more ins and outs than usual, I think.

Buenos Aires; beautiful city. Evita, tango etc. etc. is fun to see and experience. Other than that, nothing special. The hotel was very nice and in a good area, but on reflection a little too far from the metro, downtown or tourist bus. There are all Renault models from the last 40 years, nice to see. Also here the guide and driver were very nice.

The LAN flights were very good, especially to Easter Island. Very good service and movies. KLM was fast, good and on time.

All in all a very positive experience, not bothered by the many flights and time zones, also the contact with you when things went wrong with the bus in Peru.

Thank you.

Greetings and thanks,
Lisbeth & Stefan
