To the Team Untamed Travelling,
Dear Tryntsje,
We came home last Tuesday and look back on a fantastic trip to Malaysia. We enjoyed the beautiful jungles, the delicious food, the culture and the authentic cities. The accommodations were exquisite. The hotels and resorts were spacious, clean, often nicely furnished, with air conditioning and well facilitated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to stay at least one day at the destinations of our trip. This way we could fully enjoy the many attractions, activities and sights. I'm thinking about this Kuala Lumpur , the visits to the Semenggoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center , the Sepilok orangutan sanctuary, Malacca , Cameron Highlands and George Town . In one word: fantastic.
It was a special experience and experience to experience all this. Also the walks in the nature parks of the Bako National Park , Taman Negara and the boat trips on the Kinanbatangan River . You stand between trees from tens to a hundred years old in one of the oldest jungles in the world. We were able to spot many animal species. That made the trip even more complete.
On our journey we were often accompanied by local guides and drivers. They knew the way and showed us a lot. Along the way, much was told about the environment, culture and sights. They were very nice and helpful. Interacting with these people was very pleasant and felt completely familiar. The days were sunny, hot and humid. The temperature was pleasant, sometimes 25 degrees and sometimes a bit higher. On one day the weather was drizzly (during our car ride to Malacca). And furthermore, our umbrellas and ponchos remained in the suitcase.
This is how our wonderful trip full of highlights came to an end. It was a tailor-made and high quality trip, without any worries and which went according to plan. For this I would like to thank and compliment you very much, also on behalf of my wife!
This trip to Malaysia has certainly contributed to our 'memories for a lifetime'.
