Here's a story about the experiences in Morocco.
We started at Riad Al Bartal in Fes. In a word fantastic. A fantastic place and the guide showed us everything we wanted in Fes without sales pitch. The train to Marrakech went well. The train tickets were in the riad but there was no name attached to them. That's why the owner of the riad didn't know at first that the tickets were for us. The guide in Marrakech was also a nice guy. The transfers were well arranged to the bus station and the train etc.. The rooms at Riad Mimouna in Essaouira were quite small so we got another room with a sea view without paying extra. That is highly recommended.
We went back by bus to Marrakech where indeed a taxi was waiting for us to take us to Terres 'm Barka. When we wanted to leave after 3 days the manager wanted to take us to Marrakech at our expense but luckily it later became clear that the transport from the hotel to Marrakech was included in the price. We spent a day in the Atlas Mountains, self-arranged there through an agency. This trip gets a 10 plus, we had a great time! Keep us informed about traveling in Africa!
