Dear Mariëtte, We had an unforgettable trip. I can't actually properly describe what it was like because words fail me. Since this was a flash visit Namibia (we only had two weeks) the program was well filled. You had put together the whole program for us after we talked for a while about Zimbabwe and what we loved there. You listened well, because the trip was really what we expected it to be. Also, the extra adrenaline you provided with the quatting was super awesome, but we were all especially happy from the seal playtime in the canoe. Also a very nice company where you had booked that. We were very happy that you were able to incorporate Tok Tokkie Trails into the trip, this was an experience never to be forgotten and we definitely would not have wanted to miss this. Etendeka Mountain lodge was also a very nice experience. Moreover, the round "counterclockwise" was perfect. We had already seen so many animals in Etosha that we were no longer so hyped and spent the rest of the trip mostly enjoying the scenery. As mentioned, the program was very full, resulting in the first few days of time stress. From Okondjima to Etosha took some time and arriving in Etosha the guide directed us directly into the jeep, as we were actually supposed to leave at 2 a.m. (we arrived at 3 a.m.) It would have been helpful if we had known the times of the drives in advance. But in general, the travel times described were pretty accurate, although we routinely added 1.5 hours for pee breaks and our pussy-driving style. We also found it a little unfortunate that we were only in some places for 1 night (e.g. Oberland lodge or Kulala lodge), but we understand that this was probably planned that way because of fitting Tok Tokkie in, but with that I just want to point out how beautiful and relaxed these accommodations were. Yet this does not otherwise detract from the fantastic trip we took. We will definitely go back again, and if you may need any test guests... My photo card is completely full and the icloud storage no longer suffices either.... It was beautiful! Greetings, Sylvia and family
