From dry Sahara to tropical rainforest
Chad is one of the largest countries in Africa and is richly endowed by Mother Nature. Tourism in this part of Africa is still barely developed and traveling here is not easy, but whoever travels to this central part of Africa will be rewarded with special sights. The population is hospitable, which makes getting to know and making contact easy, and nature exerts a great attraction on travellers. The contrast between the different landscapes is great. In the north lies the vast dry Sahara with lakes fringed by palm trees, in the south savanna forests with Baobab trees and in the far south even lush tropical rainforest. Chad has wild animal species such as antelopes, giraffes, lions, leopards and elephants live in the forests.
