One of the last unspoiled wilderness areas
Nouabalé Ndoki National Park is located in northern Congo - Brazzaville. The park was established to protect the rainforest and its inhabitants and to cherish its original state. It is one of the last unspoiled wilderness areas and covers one of the largest protected regions. The park has a wide variety of flora and fauna with various large mammals such as forest elephants, gorillas, chimpanzees and leopards, as well as more than 300 species of birds, 1,000 species of plants and various forest biotopes. Nouabalé Ndoki is also home to the Mbeli Bai. A bai is a clearing in the forest where animals come to feed on the rich minerals and salts that are located in the soil. The Mbeli Bai is several hundred meters in length and has an area of 12 hectares. You will definitely need a camera with a lens or binoculars. It is a unique and beautiful place to observe and admire animal life in all its diversity.
