Small beachfront lodge
The Masoala Peninsula is among one of Madagascar's most rugged and pristine natural areas and the route to Masoala Forest Lodge is one for adventurers.
The rewards are great because here you will stay on the edge of the peninsula, on the narrow coastal strip between primary rainforest and the sheltered bay of Antongil, which connects to the Indian Ocean.
Here you are a guest in the midst of nature, dominated by the two ecosystems.
During your stay in this pristine environment, everything is focused on exploring nature from the comfort of this authentic and welcoming lodge.
Between primary rainforest and ocean
The sturdy canvas tents are spacious and equipped with every possible convenience.
Even when the doors are zipped shut you have plenty of views of the surroundings.
The color of the sea water and sky tell you what the weather is like, the sounds of the forest mingle with the lapping of the waves on the beach.
Even in the open spaces of the bar and restaurant, your senses are stimulated by the environment; feel the humidity shoot up when a rain shower arrives, likewise feel the cooling breeze from the water, sniff the scent of wet leaves and bark, as well as the aromas of fantastic meals with vanilla and spices.
Rain can fall here throughout the year, but even that is a special experience because the temperature remains pleasant.
Swimming in the rain, fresh and salt water mixing on your skin, it is a delight. Where the world can't find you...
