Wildlife parks in the Caprivistrip Namibia
The narrow strip of land between Botswana, Angola and Zambia is the Caprivistrip. This little-visited strip houses a number of beautiful natural areas, including Mahango Game Reserve, Mamilli N.P., Bwabwata N.P. and Mudumu N.P. The landscape of the Caprivistrip is a great contrast to the rest of Namibia. Water plains, river forests and Baobab trees characterize the landscape. The Linyanti river area is bisected by a number of large rivers, Kwando, Linyanti and the ChoberiVier. Because of the many waters, large numbers of wild animals live here in the soggy marshes and on the wooded islands with wide grasslands. There are more than 400 bird species living on the edge of the waters.
