On safari in Etosha
Etosha national park is among the largest game parks in Africa. The wild animals you will find here are typical of the African savanna. Centrally located in the park is a vast salt pan. The name Etosha means "great white spot of dry water," referring to the large salt pan that covers most of the park. The lack of dense vegetation makes it fairly easy to observe several wildlife species at once. Especially around the watering holes, you will see lots of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras and rhinos.
Safaris by landrover or walking safaris
Bordering Etosha N.P. are a number of private reserves, where you can go on safari on foot in addition to the usual safaris by landrover.
