Unique camp in the far northwest of Namibia
Serra Cafema is located in the far northwest of Namibia and is undoubtedly the most remote camp in southern Africa. This lodge is only accessible from Windhoek via a three-hour flight by light aircraft. The Kunene River is, in this region, the permanent source of water and creates a lush oasis along its banks. The small camp, located on the shore under large shady Albida trees, consists of 8 elevated and tastefully decorated villas with en-suite bathrooms. Wherever you are in the lodge, by the pool, in the lounge, at the table in the dining area or in the hammock on your private terrace, you can always enjoy the spectacular views of the river.
A breathtaking landscape
Take a tour of the Hartmann's Valley with its breathtaking scenery or traverse the sand dunes by 4x4 vehicle to spot oryx, springbok or ostrich. By boat the sunbathing crocodiles and birds observe or walk along the river in search of a leopard. Soar over the river or visit the Himba village. A picnic somewhere in a quiet spot in Marienfluss Valley is a separate experience. All this makes Serra Cafema Camp the ultimate African off-beat track and wilderness experience.
