4-star boutique ship for exploration of the mysterious Congo Basin

Princessa Ngalessa

Rivership Princessa Ngalessa left a Belgian shipyard in Kinshasa in 2017 and has the look of the passenger ships that have carried passengers across the mighty Congo River and its countless tributaries for decades. The conversion of the ship in 2022/2023 into the first 4-star Boutique ship inRepublic of Congo has ushered in a new era of sustainable tourism. Cruise along on the RV Ducrot Congo to the heart of one of the most mysterious places in the world, the Congo Basin, the Congoriver and Sangha River, where in the swamp forests, rainforests and cathedral groves, roam lowland gorillas, chimpanzees, forest elephants and bongos, among others, and more than 350 species of birds and tens of thousands of plant species can be found. In the evening, enjoy sunsets and the night sounds of the surrounding forest on the comfortable ship over a glass of wine and excellent meals.
