Dakar - multifaceted city
Dakar is the largest city and capital of Senegal and is located on the Cape Verde Peninsula, on the westernmost tip of the whole of Africa. This unique location makes it very suitable as a port city and Dakar is therefore one of the most important ports in this region. From the port of Dakar there is also mainly a lot of trade with America and Europe. Culturally, Dakar also has a lot to offer, there are several museums and mosques.
