Just an hour's drive from Cape Town is Bartholomew's Klip Farmhouse, a unique Victorian home on a large private estate that is also used as a wheat and sheep farm. Wild Olive House
Bartholomew Cliff consists of five rooms in the main house and a self-sufficient cottage 'Wild Olive House'. This cottage is ideal if you are travelling in a large tour group. There is a spacious, open-plan sitting room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room and a modern kitchen with all the comforts. In addition, the cottage has its own garden and swimming pool.
Nature Drive
Bartholomew Klip is adjacent to a nature reserve of more than 4,000 hectares. One game drive per day on the reservation is included. This is not a reserve with big dangerous game, but with all kinds of antelope species and the very special Quagga zebra that stands out because it has no stripes on its buttock part. The rangers know a lot about the very rare (Renosterveld) fynbos that occur in this region, with many unique flowers and tuber crops.
