Cluster of private game reserves
Mpumalanga province is best known for the Kruger Park. The popular game park is very accessible because of its paved roads and caters to large numbers of visitors. The Kruger Park is surrounded by a cluster of private game reserves: the Greater Kruger. We prefer to take you to this authentic and extensive area, which is in open communication with the Kruger Park and hosts the same rich treasure of wildlife. Not only can you observe the "Big Five" (elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino) here with a little luck, but you will also find game species such as giraffe, zebra, antelope, baboons and hippopotamus. Besides a wide variety of game species, you will also find a variety of landscapes and flora here; more than two million hectares of untouched wilderness with no asphalt. Some of Greater Kruger's private game reserves include Thornybush, Manyeleti and Klaserie Private Game Reserve - Timbavati and Sabi Sands Private Nature Reserve - Makuleke Game Reserve.
Small-scale luxury lodges in unique locations
From a comfortable luxury lodge, you can participate in safaris in an open Land Rover, night safaris and walking safaris accompanied by an expert guide and ranger. You will drive on dirt roads and trails and encounter few, if any, other visitors. The lodges in these private reserves are generally on a very small scale and, in addition to providing a special wilderness experience, also offer top-notch culinary services.
