Multi-day trails and day hikes
South Africa is a true paradise for hikers and the possibilities are truly endless! For example, near Cape Town there are already more than ten well-known trails on Table Mountain and the Cape Peninsula, ranging from an hour-and-a-half hike over almost flat terrain to a tough four-hour hike, involving up to 800m of elevation gain. Are you sporty and ambitious? Then you can also do multi-day treks here, which usually involve staying overnight in hiker's huts. Some trails in the country are particularly popular, such as the renowned Otter Trail along the Garden Route. There is a limit there on the number of hikers who can embark on this multi-day trek per day. In practice, this means that you must reserve your place at least a year in advance. Of course we are happy to advise you on the most diverse options, with a lot of attention to those special opportunities where it is not so crowded yet. We will be happy to tell you about spectacular tours through the Drakensberg Mountains, relaxing walks in the picturesque landscape of the Cape Winelands, the wild charm of the Wild Coast and astonishingly beautiful walks through the sea of flowers of Namakwaland. Where the world can't find you....
Walking safaris in game parks
Would you like to add another dimension to hiking or are you looking for a real bush experience? Then opt for an exciting walking safari! This activity rarely requires great physical exertion, although you should expect heat, sun and dust. You will be accompanied by at least one ranger, who knows the terrain in detail. It is much more difficult to approach the large animals on foot than when you take a safari by vehicle. However, it is an unforgettable experience: open all your senses wide and learn to decipher the tracks and signals of the bush with your guide!
