Annual zebra and wildebeest migration
Serengeti N.P. is the oldest park in Tanzania and perhaps this park is the most famous park in the world. Serengeti is famous for its annual zebra and wildebeest migration, where thousands of animals head north in search of the juicy grasslands in the Mara. Here you will experience the real 'Out of Africa'feeling. Serengeti means 'endless grass plain' in Masai and that is the characteristic landscape of the Serengeti, interspersed with 'cups', granite rock formations. The lion population in the Serengeti is large. They are spotted very regularly around the cups. Endless yellow coloured grasslands dotted with acacias, large herds of wild animals, the 'Big Five'; just a few reasons to go on safari in the Serengeti. We would like to let you experience the other reasons for your own experience.
