Tarangire N.P.
Tarangire N.P. has its own character. Characteristic of Tarangire N.P. are the Baobab trees, between which large herds of elephants live. To the north of the park you will find a vast savannah landscape, more southward the landscape consists of hills, interspersed with marshlands. The Tarangire River, which almost always has water, runs through the park, allowing large numbers of wildlife to observe. Acacia's and palm trees surround the river.
Lake Manyara N.P.
Located at the foot of the 'Escarpment' of the Great Rift Valley is Lake Manyara N.P.,known for its tree-climbing lions. The park is not large, but has a varied landscape. In the central lake you will see hundreds of birds, especially many flamingos.
