Trekking across the bottom of the gorge
Deep gorges, rugged mountains and peace, lots of peace.... If you want to get to know African nature very closely, this 5-day hike is a great start. You will hike with your guide through Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world. The canyon is characterized by a rugged, inhospitable landscape. This makes it a safe place for rare animals like the mountain zebra and shy cliffhopper.
Sleeping in the open air
The gorge is impressive: 160 kilometers long, 500 meters deep on average and up to 25 kilometers wide in some sections. The canyon is for hikers who do enjoy a challenge, as it can be very hot in the canyon. Sleep outdoors under a star-filled sky, or in a tent if you wish. Prepare for an intense experience in this rugged and spectacular landscape.
