Your day begins in the big city of Dar es Salaam, a few hours later you will land in the middle of the bush of Ruaha National Park. In the late afternoon you will take your first game drive in this remote corner of the park, where you will no doubt see large herds of elephants. It is a spectacular start to your safari journey to two special game parks in Tanzania. Your second lodge is at a wetland location in Nyerere National Park. Scenically there are major differences, the big similarity is that the sites are both exceptionally pristine, with very few tourists but all the more wildlife: lions and leopards, wild dogs and hyenas, buffalo and baboons, the list is long. Even from the lodges you can observe passing animals and search for beautiful birds, and during meals in the dry riverbed or at the edge of the lake you can continue to enjoy the smells, colors and sounds of the African bush.
