Rafting at Sipi Falls and Jinja
Three days of intense experience, so you can best describe this active trip from Kampala to Sipi Falls and Jinja. Jinja is a historical place where many have been looking for the sources of the Nile. The location, on Lake Victoria also makes her attractive for adventurous boaters, because you can raft there excellently. The Bujagali Falls, a series of rapids in the Nile, make for a spectacular trek that is suitable for both experienced and less experienced rafters. You can also 'just' stay on the shores and enjoy this beautiful setting.
Walk along the Sipi River
Sipi Falls is located in eastern Uganda, on the edge of Mount Elgon and consists of 3 waterfalls. The mild, cooler climate makes it a pleasant place to stay and undertake plenty of activities. So you can take many beautiful walks here, but also abseil along the side of one of the waterfalls. During the walks you have a beautiful view of the Karamojo plains and Lake Kyoga. The Sipi River takes its name from an indigenous, medicinal plant, the Sep, which grows on the banks of the river.
