Exclusive lodge in Murchison Falls National Park
Baker's Lodge is located in
Murchison Falls National Park,
in a beautiful private area. Due to its unique location on the south bank of the Nile, the view from lodge is spectacular, a lively panorama of islands with nesting birds, bathing elephants and sleeping hippos. From all the rooms in the main house, from the lounge, the dining area and the well-stocked bar, you can look forward to this, so every meal and every drink is not only a culinary one- but also a visual delight. The thatched wooden guest cottages are just down the road, comfortable suites situated in such a way that you can even view the river from bed.
Abundant possibilities
In the area there is plenty to do and see, therefore a stay of two to four days is recommended. Baker's staff is happy to advise you and organise it for you, whether you choose a cruise to the Nile Delta with the chance to spot the rare shoe-caged stork or go to the Falls, a hike to the top of it, a safari by 4x4 to the north bank, the tracking chimpanzees inBudongo Forest, sport fishing or a hot air balloon safari. After which it is on return, tired but satisfied, wonderfully relaxing at the pool.
