Chimpanzees in Uganda
The tropical rainforest of Kibale Forest National Park has one of the highest densities of primates in the world. They include the following primates: black & white colobus, silver monkey, red-tailed monkey and the L'Hoest Monkey. But the park is best known for its large population of chimpanzees. Accompanied by an expert guide, you can participate in "chimpanzee tracking", where you will look for the chimpanzees and other monkey species in the rainforest. The park is not only interesting because of the great diversity of monkey species, but also the bird life is exuberant and there are many beautifully colored butterflies.
