Lodge on the lifeblood of South Luangwa
Nkwali is located in a private concession on the Luangwa River and overlooks South Luangwa National Park. The intimate and authentic camp is built around a giant ebony tree. The swimming pool, bar and restaurant are situated at a riverside watering hole. You don't have to look up during your meal when elephants and other wildlife come to drink from the river.
Six rustic thatched chalets made of braided bamboo are lined up along the river. The spacious chalets are fully open at the front during the day to enjoy the beautiful views undisturbed. In the evening you can close the room with grill doors. The en-suite bathrooms have double sinks and an outdoor shower; enjoy the sounds of nature and the African starry sky as you shower!
