Traditional safari tented lodge
The traditional Davison's Camp is located deep in Hwange National Park. Eight comfortable tents hidden under trees offer a wonderful view of the plain and well, a magnet for wildlife. The tents are simple but comfortable and tastefully decorated.
The camp provides two activities a day: game drives and hiking safaris. The game drives in open 4x4s are unforgettable; there are always elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, spotted hyenas, lions or leopards to spot. And the same goes for the adventurous morning hiking safaris! There is no better way to explore this park than on foot with an experienced guide or an exciting evening game drive, a quest for bush baby, Selous mongoose, caracal, porcupine, scrub hare, spring bunny and even honey badger. In the heat of the day, you can take a cooling dip in the new pool or observe animals at the waterhole from the porch. Dining is done in the company of fellow travellers, followed by a drink around the campfire.
