Luxury eco-friendly and engaged lodge
Little Makalolo Camp is located in the heart of Hwange National Park,one of the best 'game viewing' areas. The camp overlooks the water source of this area. Little Makalolo Camp is actively involved in both the Hwange Water Supply project and Hwange Anti-Poaching project, contributing to the conservation of Hwange National Park. The power used is extracted from solar energy.
The camp consists of six luxurious residences, each with its own en suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower. The well-catered meals are used in a shared dining room. There is a salon where you can relax and a cosy fireplace where you can go in the evening to share beautiful stories and experiences. There is a lovely cooling pool.
Makalolo is the starting point from which you can make safaris on both 4x4 and foot under the guidance of an expert guide to enjoy the impressive nature. Herds of buffalo, elephants and predators such as lions, leopards, wild dogs and cheetahs. But also the bird lover can enjoy himself here, in this area live more than 400 species!
