A landscape of deep blue sea, rocks and mountains, and snow and ice
Your cruise begins and ends in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Through the bays around Vuurland, the ship chooses the spacious sop, for the crossing of the Drake Passage. It feels like an expedition, relaxing and exciting at the same time, and you will experience how much the Antarctic Peninsula is isolated from the rest of the world. Those first signs that there is land in sight are unforgettable!
Then the days of pure enjoyment, watching and observing begin, and search for penguins, elephant seals and whales. For 4-5 days (depending on the departure date) you are surrounded by a landscape of deep blue sea, rocks and mountains, and snow and ice in infinitely subtle color nuances.
During the return, the images of Antarctica slip by in thought, like in a dream. After the intense days in the pure and quiet landscape of Antarctica it is unreal to return to the inhabited world.
