A visit to Yala can be perfectly combined with Bundala National Park. Bundala is a true paradise for bird lovers. Birdwatchers see here among others the white-cheeked, the grey pelican, the brown-hood jungle timalia and the Indian neverzat. Between September and March, the number of birds is growing due to the arrival of migratory birds. Furthermore, the park is known for the large groups of flamingos that visit the nature reserve.
