Jamaica's icon Bob Marley grew up in Trenchtown, a suburb of Kingston. The district is called the birthplace of reggae and provided inspiration for the song 'No woman, No Cry'. Visit the Bob Marley Museum, where the singer lived until his death and wrote many of his famous songs. At Emancipation Park you will find the beautiful artwork created by Laura Facey that was named Redemption Song after the song of Bob Marley. The statue symbolizes a man and woman staring at the sky who survived the suffering of slavery.
