The beauty of Norway
Along the coast are the thousands of fjords for which Norway is so famous, surrounded by majestic cliffs with beautiful blue waters, a breathtaking landscape. There are charming villages around the long estuaries that stretch far inland, and hiking trails allow you to enter the magnificent mountain landscape and arrive at the glaciers. Often fjords are interconnected and it is possible to sail from one fjord to another.
Where to start?
The Geirangerfjord is one of the most famous fjords. The country's longest fjord, the Sognefjord, treats the eye to spectacular pictures with mountain walls rising up to 1,700 meters from the water. From the Preikestolen there is a stunning view of the Lysefjord. Also worth visiting are Hardangerfjord, Romsdalfjord, Nordfjord and Aurlandsfjord. Or to the north lies the impressive and narrow Trollfjord.
