An Arctic adventure
The north of Norway includes a huge area that starts at the coast of Helgeland to the Northern Cape, the northernmost point of the European mainland. It is an area full of beautiful and unspoilt nature with high mountain peaks and deep fjords. Admire it while driving on one of the most beautiful roads in the world, the Helgelandskysten. Continue to the Lofoten with the typical fishing villages, take a city walk in the university town of Tromsø and be surprised by the white beaches along the way. Go island hopping to the remote Vega Islands and set foot in Træna and Lovund, a true paradise for bird lovers.
The landscape of northern Norway lends itself perfectly to undertaking activities in order to enjoy nature at the same time. Of course, hiking and cycling are among the possibilities, but also think of rafting, a cave excursion, and whale and king crab spotting. End the day as the Sami do with a bidos, a traditional reindeer stew.
