Unparalleled biodiversity
Manuel Antonio National Park is costa Rica's smallest (16 km²) park but is the second most visited! It is located on the Pacific coast and consists of rainforest and four beaches; two beautiful sickle-shaped beaches Manuel Antonio and Espadilla Sur and beyond Teldoro and Playita. Despite being the smallest in Costa Rica, its biodiversity is unmatched by 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds! You can see dolphins and even have a chance to spot a whale during its crossing. Diving, snorkeling, sea kayaking, mountain biking and fishing are all possibilities. And of course there are beautiful walks where you can easily see the toucans and macaws from the paths and the curious capuchin monkeys and nose bear.
