Then you travel to the jungle, to the tropical rainforest of the Amazon. Venture into the rainforest on foot, where the guide will explain the flora and fauna and the many medicinal powers of plant species in the Amazon.
You are swapping nature for the colonial center of Salvador de Bahia. In the colourful Pelourinho district, charming facades and colonial buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries adorn the streetscape and steep streets connect the old town to the harbour. The catamaran will take you to Morro de Sao Paulo on the island of Tinharé. Here there is a wonderful climate, a typical Brazilian, casual atmosphere and beautiful beaches with steep cliffs and palm forests.
