The area of Salta at the foot of the Andes is one of the most spectacular areas of Argentina. The pleasant city of Salta is an absolute jewel of ancient Argentina. Also marvel at the diverse landscapes north and south of the city, with remarkable rock formations and spectacular gorges. Visit the famous wine regions of Cafayate where the white Torrontès wines come from and be surprised by the high plains of colonial towns where time seems to have stood still. A short flight takes you to the tropical north where you can admire the mighty waterfalls of Iguazú. With a visit to wildlife paradise of the Iberá wetlands you end your trip.
