Whistler
The village of Whistler is located at the foot of two alpine giants: Whistler mountain and Blackcomb mountain. Over 1,500 meters they rise above Whistler, menacing and inviting at the same time. The place gets its name from the whistling sound of marmots, who live at higher altitudes. Who knew Whistler before the 2010 Winter Olympics? In a short time the village grew into a well-equipped base for winter sports and for numerous summer activities. However, the atmosphere has remained remarkably friendly.
