CITIES AND WOODED NATIONAL PARKS

You will begin the journey in the metropolis of Toronto before continuing the route towards Ottawa, the capital of Canada. As soon as you drive to the province of Quebec you will be surrounded by valleys, hills and lakes. You will reach the magnificent Sacacomie Lodge in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, right in the middle of the Mastigouche Wildlife Reservenature reserve. The many lakes in this area are popular with canoeists and fishermen, but also live in the nature reserve animals, including bears, beavers, elk and herons.
Then continue the St. Lawrence River to La Malbaie, located near a beautiful nature reserve where the eponymous river flows through deep gorges. Also here are kayaks, canoes and bicycles for rent. More scenic hiking trails are at the town of Tadoussac where you can spot the white beluga whales. After a visit to cozy Quebec, fly to Halifax, the capital of nova scotia province.

THE CABOT TRAIL, ONE OF CANADA'S MOST BEAUTIFUL ROUTES

Nova Scotia is characterized by fishing villages and vast sandy beaches. The region's main national park is the following stop: Kejimkujik National Park. A nature reserve with lush green forests, a gently sloping landscape and many lakes. It houses a huge variety of wildlife and you can take beautiful (multi-day) walks or kayaking. You'll finish the tour in cape breton highlands national park with the Cabot Trail, one of Canada's most beautiful routes. The road is carved out of mountains and passes countless beautiful spots with magnificent views. Sometimes you can see humpback whales in the ocean.
