Wildlife and nature in Quebec

Quebec at it's best!

This journey through the French-speaking and charming province of Quebec takes you to a special stretch of Gaspesie National Park with vast coniferous forests and tundra areas. Chic-choc and McGerrie Mountains are the places to spot the wildlife of this region; caribou, white-tailed deer, elk and more than 150 bird species. More wildlife follows as you set course for the spectacular Forillon National Park with dramatic, steep cliffs, bright blue bays and mysterious caves. Look out for blue whales, seals, beavers, porcupines and many bird species on a walk through the rugged nature.
That's not all, on the way back to Montreal you come to theMiguasha Provincial Park, a wooded park where fossils from as many as 380 million years ago were found. Not for nothing has the park been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
