  • Along the Somerset coastline, archaeological sites and artifacts dating back to contact with the Vikings can be seen
  • Take a bike ride on a Fat Bike; sitting above the marshy tundra, eskers offer a great vantage point of the surrounding landscape and wildlife.
  • Kayaking in Cunningham Inkel you can observe Beluga and Polar Bear among the amazing landscapes!
  • In August, you can still enjoy the last rays of 24-hour sunlight
  • Supported by an ATV (All Terrain Vehicles), you will spend several days on foot through Somerset Island, observing and photographing Polar Bear, Musk Ox, Arctic Fox, Snowy Owl, Lemming and more
  • Witness the rutting of musk oxen in August, when the bulls compete in groups of up to 35 animals with great display of power for the right to mate
  • Get immersed in Richard Weber 's lectures on his expeditions to the North Pole
  • On the first and last night of your expedition, you will stay in Yellowknife
  • Optional: go for a full day of heli-hiking to properly observe Polar Bear and Narwhal and witness the most impressive scenery
