Expedition ship MS Spitsbergen is named after Norway's Arctic crown. After a complete reconstruction, the ship the MS Spitsbergen has been included in the Hurtigruten fleet. The modern ship features comfortable and modern cabins and public areas. The fresh Scandinavian design reflects the color palette of the sea. The ship is environmentally friendly and improvements are continually being made to reduce emissions and fuel consumption. Its size and maneuverability makes this vessel well suited for exploring fjord coastlines, both in Norway as well as Arctic destinations in Greenland, Iceland and Canada.
