Awards for peers, chosen by peers, better known as the Oscars of the Dutch travel world. They were presented january 26 at hotel of Orange during the annual Travel Gala. Untamed was nominated in the categories Best Travel Provider Far Travel and Adventure Holidays and after the first round of voting remained on the shortlist for the award Best Travel Provider Adventure Holidays.
Best Travel Provider Far Travel
The annual event where the top of the travel industry meets, the Reisgala, was held again on 26 January at hotel van Oranje in Noordwijk. A stiff sold-out edition that was unprecedented. The organization was arranged to perfection, the food was of culinary level, the decoration was stylish and the atmosphere was delirious, which was without doubt due to the musical show and the rain of prizes that the attendees participated in. The tension was greatly stepped up during the three-course dinner, which was musically framed by the Classic Crooners, who revived the times of The Rat Pack in an atmospheric way. In between courses, the award winners were announced. After the first course, Untamed Travelling was called on stage and director Jozef Verbruggen received the Holiday Award for the Best Travel Provider Far Travel 2019. A great honour, a recognition that we celebrated exuberantly with the stunners of René Froger impersonator Richard Hekkert and the pounding sound of house DJ Hilco.
