Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzees
Uganda is privileged by nature. Diverse and diverse. From mountains with snowy peaks to vast savannas. Kidepo Valley has a wildlife park with, according to experts, the most spectacular landscape in Africa. Possibly even more impressive is a visit to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest , one of Africa's oldest tracts of rainforest, home to mountain gorillas that are among the last on Earth. In Kibale Forest you can look for chimpanzees and in the swamps of Bigodi or Mabamba for special birds such as the Blue Turaco and the Shoebill Stork. Those who want more action can climb the famous 'Mountains of the Moon', the Ruwenzori , with their eternal snow or brave the rapids of the world's longest river Nile.
